Coding Classes for Teenagers in Nnewi & Awada (2026)
Coding Classes for Teenagers in Nnewi & Awada (2026 Holiday Bootcamp)
By Bill Achusim · Jun 18, 2026
Every long holiday, Nnewi and Awada parents ask the same question: "Where can my child actually learn to code — not just play games on a laptop?" Here's the honest 2026 answer, and what our Tech Faculty holiday bootcamp does differently.
Who this is for
- Ages 10 to 17
- JSS students on long holiday
- SS3 graduates waiting for JAMB/university
- Any Anambra teenager who's curious about tech but doesn't know where to start
No prior coding experience needed. A working laptop helps, but we have loaners on-site for the paid track.
The 2026 holiday tracks
Track 1 — Digital Foundations (Ages 10–13, 4 weeks)
Typing, Google Workspace, Canva design, safe internet use, Scratch programming, Roblox Studio basics. Ends with each child publishing a Scratch game.
Track 2 — Junior Coder (Ages 12–15, 6 weeks)
HTML, CSS, and beginner JavaScript. AI tools (safe use of ChatGPT, image generation). Each teen builds and deploys a personal website by graduation.
Track 3 — Teen Tech Pro (Ages 14–17, 8 weeks)
Real web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and an intro to React. Python for data. AI project work. Each participant ships a real portfolio site + one AI-powered mini-project.
Track 4 — SS3 Gap-Year Bootcamp (Ages 16–19, 12 weeks)
Our full foundation curriculum, compressed for SS3 graduates waiting for university. Choose one specialisation: web development, data analytics, or AI. Certificate + portfolio + WAEC/JAMB-tutoring add-on.

What makes this different from "computer classes"
Most "computer training" centres in Nnewi and Anambra teach Microsoft Word and typing — useful in 2005, not in 2026. Our teen tracks are taught by working developers using the same tools professional Nigerian engineers use: VS Code, GitHub, Vercel, real AI APIs.
Every teenager leaves with:
- A live GitHub account with their code
- A deployed project on a public URL they can share
- A Tech Faculty certificate
- A clear next-step roadmap
Safety and supervision
- Maximum 15 students per class
- All instructors DBS/character-checked
- Parents get a weekly WhatsApp progress report
- Structured lunch break with supervised environment
- Pickup/dropoff verification for under-14s
Why teenagers in Anambra should not wait
The developers earning ₦2M+/month in Nigeria today mostly started coding between ages 12 and 16. Every long holiday your teen spends on TikTok is a compounding opportunity cost. One 8-week bootcamp at 14 changes a career trajectory.
